Welcome to the 2019-2020 Novice hockey season. In discussions with the ice coordinator for LMHA here is the tentative plan to start the year.
Mass practice and evaluations will occur the weekend of September 28 and 29.
September 28 is from 8:00AM-12:00PM at Logan Boulet Arena (formerly Adams).
September 29 is from 8:00AM-11:45AM at Nicholas Sherarn Arena.
The specific date and time your player will need to be there over the weekend will be established prior to that weekend once the numbers have been finalized.
The teams will be drafted early that following week.
Each team will have a welcome practice the weekend of October 5 and 6. There will be no hockey over the next week and weekend (thanksgiving weekend).
Full practices will start the week of October 15 with a game scheduled released shortly after that.
Practice days and game times are still unknown at this time as we are waiting on final numbers and the structure of our division. As novice has transitioned to half ice for all teams this year adjustments are being made as we go.
